Letter to Boston Globe Stresses Value of Genetic Tests
In a letter to the Boston Globe today, ACLA President Alan Mertz stressed that "genomics-based scientific advances over the past decade have increased our ability to diagnose disease earlier and tailor treatment to the exact genetic profile of the individual patient." The letter came in response to an April 21 article in the Boston Globe, headlined "Some Doubt Genome's Value as Health Tool."
