Ambassador Program

Recruitment Pool: Results for Life will seek to enlist Ambassadors at national laboratory professional meetings including but not limited to the Executive War College (May 2007), AACC Expo (July 2007), and the G-2 Lab Institute (October 2007).

Volunteers will be asked to provide the following information to help facilitate their participation as Results for Life Ambassador:

1. How many years have you been in the clinical laboratory field?
2. What is your current title and/or position?
3. Are you available to participate in a brief telephone conference RFL Ambassador training program?
4. Do you have experience as a public speaker?
5. Contact information.

Training: Will be done by conference call to orient the Results for Life Ambassador with key campaign messages, printed material, power point presentation, DVD, and web site. A key point of training is to emphasize the educational nature of the Results for Life program.

Ambassador Activities:

1. To participate in training.
2. To communicate to the Results for Life staff when, to whom, and for what purpose presentations are made.
3. To speak on behalf of the Results for Life program delivering the value of laboratory services message.
4. To strive to hold at least one educational session at your laboratory promoting the Results for Life campaign and message.
5. To provide feedback about how well the topic was received by the audience and to provide suggestions for program improvement.

Recognition: Volunteers who complete the training program will be recognized with a certificate and be listed as an Ambassador on the Results for Life web site.
